Implementing Partners

Non-governmental organisations (NGOs) and community based organisations (CBOs) play a prominent and visible role in the campaign to end the trafficking of children and women. In addition to discovering and publicising cases, they are best placed to work closely with local communities to stimulate the debate necessary to change accepted practices. Local NGOs play a role as a facilitator, an informant and a coach in the community developed initiatives. The most valuable initiatives are those that are developed and implemented by the children and their parents. This philosophy guides the SANTAC approach.
