Empowering Church Leaders for Action in Southern Africa Workshop

We would like to announce that the South African Network Against Trafficking and Abuse of Children (SANTAC) and the Inter-Regional Meeting of Southern Africa Catholic Bishops (IMBISA), in cooperation with DIAKONIA Mozambique, Save the Children Mozambique and “Terre desHommes”Germany orgasined a training workshop "Empowering Church Leaders for Action in Southern Africa". This event is part of our 2012-2014 SANTAC and IMBISA joint program “ Mainstreaming Violence, Exploitation and Human Trafficking in SADC Countries.The event was held on May 15th to 16th 2012 in Mumemo Coference Center, in Marracuene.

With the opening of the judicial year, on March 1st of this year, it will never be enough to renew the desire to see strengthened awareness initiatives and implementation of preventive measures against crimes of violation of human rights, particularly those charged against women and children.
